Helen Alexander Memorial Lecture 2023: Dame Kate Bingham DBE

The Helen Alexander Memorial Lecture is an annual event, with the overarching theme of Women on Business. Each year, a prominent female leader is invited to discuss an important aspect of business.
The lecture is devoted to the memory of Dame Helen Alexander, a much loved and pioneering figure in British business, and supported by three organisations that she was closely associated with: The Economist, Informa and the University of Southampton.
The event is also attended in person by nominated/exceptional students from Southampton Business School, who will be presenting their questions to the speaker.
This year's speaker will be Dame Kate Bingham, managing partner at SV Health Investors.
The topic of this year’s lecture will be: The role of venture capital in growing the UK's life sciences sector and driving innovation to tackle diseases.
