Gift of Sight - Bach's St John Passion anniversary performance

Join us at Winchester College Chapel to celebrate the 300th anniversary of J.S. Bach's St John Passion for Gift of Sight.
Winchester Bach Voices will perform a haunting and dramatic musical depiction of the Passion of Christ, as told in the Gospel of John. Enjoy a drinks reception from 6pm before the performance begins at 7pm.
Cost: Seats in the Nave (facing musicians): £30pp
Seats in the Side Chantry (no view of musicians): £20pp

Grateful thanks to Gift of Sight supporter, Jon Newman for organising the event. The programme will be directed by Andrew Hayman, with Sebastian Hill as Evangelist, Alex Bower-Brown as Jesus and Benjamin Watkins as Pilate.
Please be aware that seat numbers will not be allocated – your booking reserves you a place in the nave or side chantry respectively. When Bach wrote the manuscript it was to be performed in one piece. There will, however, be a short comfort break built into our programme. You may wish to bring a cushion for the wooden nave seats!
