Doctoral College PGR Seminar Series

The Doctoral College Seminar Series offers you the space to come along and practice your presenting skills in a friendly and supportive environment, as well as the chance to receive feedback from your peers and academics. It provides an opportunity for doctoral researchers (PGRs) to practice presenting their research to a small interdisciplinary audience, as well as for interested doctoral researchers to learn about other research at the University.
Our monthly seminars last approximately 90 minutes, taking place as in-person or online sessions alternately. There will be eight short presentations (up to a maximum of 10 minutes each), followed by questions and further discussion. The Doctoral College will chair and facilitate these sessions to ensure all PGRs receive supportive and helpful questions and feedback. Refreshments will be provided at the in-person seminars.
