Cut-Up Your Thesis Workshop

Find undiscovered paths through your research topic in this fun, social, and creative workshop for Postgraduate Researchers. Starting with a short history of zine making from renowned artist and writer J.R. Carpenter, you will be led through the process of making your very own zine. But there’s a catch: nothing you make will be original. 

By cutting up old newspapers and photocopied research material you’ll use collage to produce a zine about your thesis without writing a single word. 

PGRs from all subjects are welcome and all material will be provided. However, if you wish to use any specific texts, please request them to the Hartley Library for the day of the session.
