About Savanna:
Savanna Cutts, the Student Inclusion Manager in Widening Participation and Social Mobility at Southampton, is dedicated to supporting underrepresented students in higher education. As the co-founder and co-chair of the University's Social Mobility Network, she focuses on creating a supportive environment for students and staff from low socioeconomic or working-class backgrounds, and those who are the first in their family to attend university. An alumna with a Law degree from Southampton, Savanna brings personal experience to her role in fostering inclusivity.
About Gino:
Gino's career in fair access to higher education spans over 20 years, starting with outreach at the London School of Economics and leading Widening Participation at both the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex. As the Director of Widening Participation and Social Mobility at the University of Southampton, he champions collaborative efforts to enhance educational access. Gino is also active in sector-wide initiatives, serving as co-vice-chair of FACE and deputy lead convenor of the Access and Participation Plan Special Interest Group.
