Additional session with Henham Strategy: Government Thinking on Clusters and Investment Zones
Drawing on our extensive work with the Midlands Engine pan-regional partnership on identifying and exploring the investment potential of clusters in the Midlands region, Henham Strategy will provide an overview of the current Government thinking on clusters and how the University of Southampton can leverage commercial opportunities in this space. The presentation will provide a high-level overview of the Government’s strategic priorities for cluster development, assessing how this applies to emergent clusters in the Solent area, which can be built out in partnership with local authorities, the freeport and private sector firms.
