Sound as Method

This free webinar will explore sound as a method in qualitative research.
Three speakers will give examples of methods used in recent research projects.
Dr Rishika Mukhopadhyay (University of Southampton) will discuss the use of sound to understand the sensory heritage of the city.
Dr Elona Hoover (University of Brighton) will talk about using sound in ethnographic fieldwork with urban commoning projects.
Dr Matilde Meireles (University of Oxford) will introduce the collaborative methodologies behind the online platform Constellations: Experiments in Multi-Media Ethnography.
The event is the latest event in a series of webinars organised by NCRM, the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership and Qualitative Expertise at Southampton.
