UoS Music Presents: Laefer Quartet

Lunchtime concert presented by the University of Southampton Music Department.

Widely regarded as one of the UK's most exciting and dynamic saxophone quartets, the Laefer Quartet have been at the cutting edge of saxophone chamber music for over a decade. The quartet are delighted to present a diverse and fascinating programme exploring the full range of the possibilities of the saxophone quartet, with a transcription of Ravel's ‘Le Tombeau de Couperin’ alongside original works for the ensemble including the UK premiere of Benjamin Oliver's ‘Avalanche’. 

These concerts are held in the Turner Sims Concert Hall on Highfield Campus. Entrance is FREE and all are welcome. All audience members must book a ticket via the Turner Sims website or Box Office.
