Prof. Patricia Daley, who is Professor of Human Geography of Africa, at the University of Oxford is giving the SoGES Annual Gregory Lecture later that afternoon. We are very grateful that Prof. Daley has kindly agreed to meet Black students, PGRs and ECRs at a closed event in the day. The event will start with a light lunch, which will provide an opportunity for networking. Prof. Daley will then share her experience about her career trajectory and will offer advice and inspiration to participants, especially useful for those thinking to develop a career in academia.
All food options are vegetarian, which are suitable for people that may require halal food, or for those with shellfish allergies. If you require gluten-free food, please note it on the registration form.
This is a closed event for Black students, PGRs and ECRs only.
We look forward to seeing many of you there!
