Let's Talk About Social Mobility- Safe Listening Space
Wednesday 8th November 2023, 12:00pm
The Social Mobility Network has been created as a dedicated space for likeminded individuals (students and staff) who self-define as either currently being from, or originating from, a low socioeconomic background. This lived experience is a key component of the composition of the Network.
Safe Listening Spaces provide an opportunity for a confidential, open discussion focused on lived experience in a safe environment. Safe Listening Spaces will be held via Teams, and sessions will not be recorded to protect the confidentiality of attendees. Any key themes will be anonymously shared with the working group to support future work.
Safe Listening Spaces will be facilitated by:
Savanna Cutts, Co-Chair of the Social Mobility Network
And
Melissa Allada, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
This session is open to all staff and students including PGRs/PGTs
There are a limited number of spaces for each session, please contact diversity@soton.ac.uk if you cannot make the session so we can offer your space to someone else.
